WOW! Marvelous! The finishing touches add so much. Love the deep pink blocks on top and all the reflected light work there...all the faces are great too . the lamb / shell level really pop out from the background...love the glow
Thanks, Anne! Some of the blocks, and all three of the upturned glasses, started out as deep red, but I found the color was jumping out of the picture. The glasses were so intensely colored that they crowded out the shell. That's why I changed the colors to pink and orange, respectively. It's interesting to me that you've seen the painting at many stages, and the color change didn't bother you! That's a good sign, I think.
Oh dear, I can't say even I noticed the change, but I highly approve of the change from what I see here! The yellow glasses create another "window" so to speak . You have created so many 3-D levels on a flat, 2-D plain! I feel I can step in!
